A bit about me

I am Carol Das, a Certified-Meditation Teacher and Ayurveda lifestyle coach based in London, UK. I have been practising yoga for more than a decade and practising and studying meditation since 2019. I am a Meditation Instructor certified by The Chopra Center, where I am registered as a Teacher. I am currently going through the Ayurveda Certification process with The Chopra Center and the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

I was born in Rio, into a family of local farmers from Portugal.

Rio is my homeland where I was brought up very close to my family’s traditions. Sustainability and the connection with the earth was a fundamental part of our lives and general wellbeing. This deep natural connection inspired me and I was always curious about the mysteries of existence and what our eyes cannot see.

I moved to London in 2010 to study Politics in an attempt to join the movement for a more just world. At that point, I realised the world can only change through the level of each individual’s consciousness. And so my own journey towards a life with less stress, suffering and increased wellbeing, began. Now, my aim is to share this transformative wisdom with you.

I teach and guide a variety of meditation techniques and courses for individuals and groups including Introduction to Meditation and Primordial Sound Meditation, a Vedic meditation practice and curriculum shared by Dr. Deepak Chopra for over 30 years which assign individuals a personal mantra and instruct them how to meditate.

I am also equipped to present fundamental concepts in Vedanta, including theory, history, traditions and principles for a variety of groups and levels of practices in meditation, pranayama and self-care techniques, guiding individuals towards optimal health and wellbeing.
